I just upgraded a slink install to potato and am playing with the 2.2.10
kernel-image deb. (I can imagine Emeril saying, "Let's kick it up a notch.
Bam!")

Even though I placed 'alias eth0 ne2k-pci' in an /etc/modutils/ethernet file
and ran update-modules, the kernel insists on loading the ne2 module for this
card.

The only way I've found to defeat this is to rename both the ne2 and ne
modules. What am I missing?
