Bingo. Then it looks as if all my guesses in

were basically correct.

I looked at that page some while back. Without seeing it in action,
I think I'd have difficulty in recommending any software suitable
for it because it's so different. Keep on trucking.

But the steps you've taken with In-Reply-To and References have worked fine.
