On an i386 system, a recent upgrade of cupsys to cupsys1.2.7etch6
reverts to the default page setup and printer properties each time the
computer is started, and sometimes in the middle of a session.

Page setup reverts to 0.5 inch margins.

Printer properties revers to 0.04 gap from edge of paper to margin,
with page number at the bottom left and URL at the top right.

The default settings result in missing headers and footers (page
numbers, URL, etc.) when printing to a HP Postscript laser printer.

Over the years, this same CUPSYS problem has characterized numerous
CUPSYS updates. It typically is corrected in the next update of CUPSYS.

Meanwhile, where is the CUPSYS configuration file? Would a change in
file permissions be a work-around?
