Well, since we're apparently meant to be obsessed about what it is like
to accept every default, then let's assume for a moment that you are
asking about rsyslog with the maintainer supplied rsyslog.conf.

Having just installed this laptop, I can run this:

# grep -r '5590629f1f60.*delivery successful' /var/log
/var/log/mail.log:Feb  6 14:51:14 rummy dma[164f55.5590629f1f60]: delivery =
successful
/var/log/mail.info:Feb  6 14:51:14 rummy dma[164f55.5590629f1f60]: delivery=
 successful
/var/log/syslog:Feb  6 14:51:14 rummy dma[164f55.5590629f1f60]: delivery su=
ccessful

which you'll note is actually triplicating log messages by default.
