$ grep x-scheme-handler/http /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache
x-scheme-handler/http=midori.desktop;chromium-browser.desktop;
x-scheme-handler/https=midori.desktop;chromium-browser.desktop;
And it takes precedence over what you quoted.
