Improving the packaging is an activity that needs to be undertaken with the actual maintainers, which you are not (Chris is the relevant maintainer here). If you read your beloved Policy carefully, you'll notice that you can't NMU (by the same token, neither can I); you need the full co-operation of maintainers to do anything. Have you even talked to Chris privately about this? --=20 Daniel Stone but tell me...I have an app for tk ? where should i run it? CarpeDiem: in a contained environment. on a non-networked box. wouldn't want it to spread. --7mxbaLlpDEyR1+x6 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjxHRTIACgkQcPClnTztfv38VwCePxnChLE0u+R2l1cs+qiyHttQ f94An2M6qG9IivbL0GRvY810TQQOzqnX =IJ3j -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --7mxbaLlpDEyR1+x6-- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-request@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
