For those interested in cypherpunkish applications on Z80's
here is an interesting bit of propaganda for the Z80 called
"The Z80 Lives".

A few tidbits...

Z80 cores are available upto 20mhz
The 64180 is a high integration version of the Z80.
Z80 memory is cheap.

The 64180 has an MMU to allow more than 64K
(not that a pager would need it).  The Z180
is very similar to the Hitachi 64180.

BTW: I seem to remember that the Z80 is not
really RISC.  I was just kidding.  It has
an instruction called LDHX which is a single
instruction block copy/move.
