Hello,

as a happy CRUX/coLinux User I was some kind of disappointed
when I tried to install CRUX 2.4 under colinux. In the past
everything worked like a charm but the new CD ROM auto detection
mechanism seems to have problems with the colinux block
devices named /dev/cobdX. After hours of digging in the init
script I became aware of some things:

- It would be very helpful to implement a check, if any CRUX
CD ROM was found. At the moment the script simply runs into
errors over errors if the CD detection does not find anyting.

- The init script should include any /dev/cobdX device into
the list of available mount points. I got around this by
simply adding the following line:
CDROM_DEVICES="$CDROM_DEVICES cobd0 cobd1 cobd2 cobd3 cobd4"

- The colinux boot process relies on an external kernel.
Sadly this has no squashfs support implemented by default.
The start process tries to mount the squash filesystem from
the CD but this fails and again the script lacks of a
intelligent error handling. A simple message about the
error would help very much.

After everything was in place I finally was able to boot
CRUX 2.4 under coLinux - happy again. Keep up the good work.
