Maybe that's because some people don't agree that it's about a
flawed-design, but rather about staying away from the path to overdesign
and excessive featurebloat.

It's not like we're talking about a bug in pkgmk. We're basically talking
about how "nice" the output should be, i.e.:

<...>
Error: Build failed (during make).

vs.

<...>
Error: Build failed.


And in both cases, you need to look at the build log to determine the real
problem (i.e. why make failed).
