Hi Steffen,

Thanks for the suggestion.
If you'd really like it to be distributed as part of the coreutils,
then you'll have to be prepared to justify that.  I.e., why should
coreutils include md4sum, when it already has md5sum, sha1sum, and
sha{224,256,384,512}sum?  Especially when some people are moving
away from md5sum and sha1sum, to the longer hashes.  In what situations
is md4sum useful?
