I tried to connect two computers, one laptop and one desktop. Both have XP Pro SP2. \
I used the connection wizard on both, added them to the same workgroup. I created \
duplicate accounts on both computers and created shares.

This is the interesting part. On the desktop, when I try to browse the workgroup, it \
says I don't have permission to access the workgroup. However, the "net view" \
command works, and displays the other computer and its shares. However "net use" \
fails.

Whereas on the laptop, I can browse the workgroup and actually see the desktop, \
although I can't see any shares. But the "net view" command results in an error 53 \
network path not found.

Does this provide any clue as to what is wrong?

Thanks!
