When I log onto certain web sites using ms ie I get the following message:

A run time error has occurred.
Do you whish to debug?

Line: 1
Error: Invalid character

I'm running xp with the latest updates. I read an article on ms's knowledge
data base that said:

Internet Explorer reports an "Invalid character" error when a Unicode .js
file is included with the SCRIPT tag, for example:

Since I don't know how to work with scripts I disabled script debugging and
no longer receive the error message.

Has anyone had this problem? And what are the consequences of disabling
script debugger?
