This is the last bit of lines I get when I attempt to make 0.7.57:

Okay, now back to the das08-new driver from v 0.7.56

After loading it, and running the info program with comedilib 0.7.15:

driver name: das08
board name: das08/jr-ao
number of subdevices: 5

and it lists the various subdevices

Hmm, something has happened to my mouse in xwindows.  I'm going to send
this email and then send another one when I can find my mouse again :)
