Richard has written pretty detailed documentation for the socket VXD.
We use this for Coda on Windows 9x. He also found a bug in the code
which we will fix.

Subject: ANNOUNCE: SOCK.VXD pseudo-documentation
Date: Sun, 18 Apr 1999 21:57:40 +0100
Hello.
I have written some documentation for SOCK.VXD from the Win95 port of the
Coda network file system. This virtual device driver allows DOS programs to
use Windows's TCP/IP networking services from a DOS box. The documentation can
be found at:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lab/3216/dl/csockvxd.htm
I would welcome any comments, errata and suggestions. Bye,
