I also submitted a pull request for the release22 branch, this feature
would be useful there as well as we see similar behavior.

localhost instead of the server setting.  In my environment we have cobbler nodes \

(active/standby cobbler nodes).  This is causing commands like cobbler sync from \
completing as they can attempt to connect to the VIP.  The setting defaults to off, \
