Hi

We are using cobbler for provisioning and spacewalk for management. I am now needing \
to use proxies to be able to centrally manage hosts but also allow local installs.

I have setup a spacewalk proxy but experience the following issue, during install the \
client gets the ks through the proxy and anaconda starts. Stage2 is downloaded and \
the repo data is retrieved again all through the proxy without problem. The issue is \
that when the actual rpm transaction starts the packages can't be downloaded it just \
sits asking to retry. Strangly if I get another terminal on the client I can wget the \
rpm using the same URL that anaconda seems to have the issue with so I am a bit \
stumped. If I put a proxypass rule on the proxy so that it points directly to the \
server, bypassing squid, the install works although nothing is caches so slightly \
defeats the point.

Any clues anyone as I am tearing my hair out here as it makes no sense to me. 

How do others achieve this?
