Right. Route lists resets do not reset voice gateways.

I'm sorta thinking James is right here. I did some tests a while back after resetting \
a route list and my call was not dropped. I think there was a change from v3 to v4 \
that fixed(?) this. Not sure if v5/6/7 changed this. I'm on 4.1(3) w/ MGCP gateways \
PRI/ISDN.

I have not observed the need to reset route lists for some time, probably since 7.1 \
at least. I used to see it all the time from 4.x – 6.x.

So if I reset the route list does it reset the h.323 gateways in the route groups and \
drop the active calls?

Does this behavior change in any newer version?

It will not work without the reset of the route list, unfortunately.

Running CUCM 6.14. I need to change the order of a route list so calls go through a \
different gateway first. I know it says I have to reset the route list but do I \
really need to? Will it work without the reset? I don't want to drop the active calls \
on the gateway.
