To add on to this, I just discovered that I can dial the internal ext to go=
to the UCCX box and get the caller ID to pass; however, if I call from ext=
ernal in, the caller ID won't pass correctly going back out.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Subject: RE: [cisco-voip] Masking Caller ID and Translation Patterns

So another hurdle I need to jump over. I have yet to get a resolution from=
the Carrier so I'm performing a work-around for the business. The flow of=
what I'm doing in a nut shell is below. There's still an issue I need hel=
p with.

* Call comes in, hits the cti_route point and goes to the UCCX box.

* After certain parameters, etc are met the call then gets redirect=
ed to the Translation pattern on the CM

* The Translation pattern then masks the call with the caller ID of=
one of my DIDs (of my choice) and gets transferred to the external center

The problem I'm having is, I can call the translation pattern directly and =
the caller ID gets transferred to the external center, but if I call into t=
he UCCX box through the CTI port, the caller ID will not get transferred. =
At what point is the call losing it's mask?

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks,

Yeah they do say they can only present as one DDI (DID same thing). Not su=

Good luck with it and let me/us know how it goes.

I'm using 7.0.1

This issue has changed a little since I last posted. I've found that I can=
mask calls, just not mask calls to any number I want, only DIDs that we ow=
n. I'm trying to mask a TFN for outbound calls. This TFN does not termina=
te into our system currently. The only numbers I can mask are our internal=
DIDs that are terminated to our system. As long as it's one we own, I can=
mask. I need to be able to mask TFNs as the outbound call. Could this be=
a Service Provider issue, or a setting that I'm missing? This is in our U=
K office if that changes things.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Script does a database dip to an external database to determine the ext=

All outbound calls from regular phones will pass the Caller ID. The Transl=

masking the Caller ID before sending out to the external call center. I h=
