When I try to launch Gnome-Terminal from X-Win32 8.0.2122, I get an error. The
error will loop continuously, opeing more and more and more broken terminal
windows until I terminate my connection.

The console shows the following error:

Error: Cairo 1.2.6 does not yet support the requested image format:
        Depth: 16
        Alpha mask: 0x00000000
        Red   mask: 0x00007c00
        Green mask: 0x000003e0
        Blue  mask: 0x0000001f
