Hello,

I am trying to build busybox in such a way that I can run applets from
ash without symlinking or specifying the applet as an argument to the
busybox binary.

I followed the steps in the FAQ under "I selected standalone shell
[...]". Some applets work correctly, such as `echo` (as in the
example in FAQ), but anything not listed under `help` command (for
example `ls`) prints "ash: <applet>: not found".

What might I be missing here?

I have attached my .config to this email. Other than that, I am
compiling with `LDFLAGS=3D"--static" make`.
