How about filling out the test suite to do it for you? That would be really,
really cool.

Well, ideally what we need is a regression test suite. We have bits of one,
but it needs a _lot_ more fleshing out.

Unfortunately, the test suite tends to get bumped to lower priority when other
things need to be done, even though long-term a better test suite saves a lot
of work.

With the mount tests I put some infrastructure in place for tests that need to
run as root. Still not happy with it, though...

Ah.

Did I mention that qemu is fun? Back when I had more time I was trying to get
the Firmware Linux build to cross-compile. Alas, I haven't had time to even
look at it since... (Rummages...) August 12th.
