I'm generally the guy who closes out bugs from there, and I actually prefer
them posted to the mailing list.

The thing is, I'm traveling for the holidays (on a train at the moment) and
since I didn't get -pre2 out before christmas I've had no chance to work on
it since).

I vaguely remember addressing this one, although I don't remember if I just
triaged the patch into my todo folder or if I actually checked it in after
-pre1 came out. And I haven't had coinciding time and internet access to
look at this, and right now I'm about to fall over.

I really do prefer dealing with stuff on the mailing list. You only need to
do that if you don't get a response from the mailing list.

If you have a patch by all means submit it. I do remember seeing this one,
but am not in a position to do anything about it at present.

This mailing list is step 1. Really. Stuff that goes into the bug generator
routinely gets ignored for months at a time. Stuff posted to the mailing
list gets responded to in a matter of days.

I do not think it means what you think it means.
