the online docs for dpkg-deb list the following options:

        -c      List contents of filesystem tree
        -e      Extract control files to [argument] directory
        -f      Display control field name starting with [argument]
        -I      Display the control filenamed [argument]
        -t      Extract filesystem tree to stdout in tar format
        -x      Extract packages filesystem tree to directory
        -X      Verbose extract

yet the actual source in dpkg_deb.c recognizes only the options

bb_opt_complementaly = "c~efXx:e~cfXx:f~ceXx:X~cefx:x~cefX";
        opt = bb_getopt_ulflags(argc, argv, "cefXx");

p.s.  and it's still disconcerting that the source file is dpkg_deb.c
while the command is "dpkg-deb".
