Subject:    [BusyBox] link error with busybox-unstable

Compiling busybox-unstable 20020725 with the uClibc 0.9.12 / gcc 3.1
toolchain, I get the following error on the final link stage:

... /busybox-20020725/libbb/libbb.a(pw_encrypt.o): In function
`pw_encrypt':
pw_encrypt.o(.text+0xa): undefined reference to `crypt'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [busybox] Error 1

I suspect I'm doing something wrong, as crypt seems to be part of
uClibc?  

Hints and tips appreciated...
