RTFM.  When you make bb there will be a directory "./docs".  There will
be a man page for bb in there (also in html if your into that kind of
thing).  Study the section on init and pay special attention to the
description of the bb_init syntax for "/etc/inittab" (it differs from
sysvinit).  

You don't have to run getty.  You could run /bin/sh (or any other
program for that matter).
