Hi!

The syslog version from CVS does not log my driver's messages to
/var/log/messages (should be facility 'kernel'). Is this a known problem?
Other messages are logged as they should. On my development host with
'normal' syslog it works:

Jun 24 09:58:26 callisto kernel: sampledrv: Device registered with major
device number 60.
Jun 24 09:58:39 callisto kernel: sampledrv: unregistering module: return=0
