I did all this porting for no reason! I am not sure why we use the
wu-ftpd, but I see that my 4.0 system also has the newer BSD/OS ftpd.

Thanks for the info. Now I just need to move over to the newer ftpd with
BuiltinLS support and hope I don't break anything.
