Summary: stories with large numbers of versions bog down
                    searching
           Product: Bricolage
           Version: 1.8.3
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Database
        AssignedTo: bugs@lists.bricolage.cc
        ReportedBy: lannings@who.int

I'm not absolutely certain, but large version number seems likely the problem.
We have a story that's updated thrice daily,
so its version number was approaching 2000.
I found that doing a search for this particular story
(or part of its URI, more precisely) caused Search to take
much longer in the UI than for other stories,
and it caused `bric_soap story --search ...` to timeout
at the default --timeout time (the problem was noticed when
the cron script that updates the story started failing).

Not sure what the problem would be, presumably something not scaling
right in the database.
