           Summary: bric_soap shouldn't require passwords to be typed on the
                    command line
           Product: Bricolage
           Version: 1.9.0 - Development for 1.10
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: SOAP
        AssignedTo: lannings@who.int
        ReportedBy: marshall@exclupen.com

I don't like having to type my password on the command line when using
bric_soap, since it ends up in the history. If you don't provide the --password
option, bric_soap should prompt you without echoing what you type, like a normal
shell login.

I'm attaching a patch that makes it prompt if you leave out --password
altogether, or provide --password with no value. The current "--password
foobar" is unaffected. The only issue I see is that it adds yet another module
dep: Term::ReadPassword.
