Hi,

I want to encrypt a SMS ( Short Message Service used for Mobile
Communication ) which can hold only 160 characters. I would like to know
which algorithm is suitable such that the size of the ciphered text do not
increase much so that I can hold more data in the SMS.

If I plan to use DES or AES, what parameters can I change so that the
increase in size of ciphered text is not much. I am looking for a mechanism
such that the size of the ciphered is not more than 16 bytes compared to the
plain text
