I have updated the intel-linux toolchain to fix glaring issues in the default
path checked for the compiler driver. I have also enabled the use of the -Os
flag for <optimization>space for intel-linux-11.0 and up (this flag is not
available in earlier versions of the compiler).

WRT to the default path - the default install path for intel on linux has
traditionally been different for each release of the compiler. We've got most
versions of intel-linux available at my work, so I was able to gather this
information. I am missing a few versions, but this certainly improves our
intel-linux support a good bit. Previously, the default path that was used was
the path specific to intel 8.0. Now, the following (correct) paths are used:

12.0 (XE 2011) - /opt/intel/bin
11.1 - /opt/intel_cce_11.1.064.x86_64/bin
11.1 - /opt/intel_cce_11.0.074.x86_64/bin
10.1 - /opt/intel_cce_10.1.013_64/bin
9.1 - /opt/intel_cc_91/bin
9.0 - /opt/intel_cc_90/bin
8.1 - /opt/intel_cc_81/bin
8.0 - /opt/intel_cc_80/bin

I'm missing intel-linux-10.0, intel-linux-7.* and intel-linux-6.*. Anyone able
to help out?

P.S. We should think about turning -ipo on for <optimization>all for
intel-linux-12.0. The compiler seems to be able to handle it for Boost.
