Hi!
To the author of SB16 code.
I have found some minor glitch in then SB16 emulation code. Actually it
doesnt affect much but anyway - just to be as close as possible to the real
thing. It's about two undocumented DSP commands: read test register and
write test register. These commands uses e.g. CL diagnose.exe and may use
some another program. There is a 8-bit register inside DSP which is
accessible via this commands. Value preserves across software DSP resets.
0xE4 - Write Test Register. Arguments: 1 byte - value to be written
0xE8 - Read Test Register. Arguments: none.
PS: this commands implements not only SB16 but also SB Pro compatibles.
