Maybe this isn't the appropriate forum to voice this question. If it's
not I apologize.

Anyways, I'm trying to get Minix 2.0.0 to run in bochs compiled on
Debian potato (glibc 2.1 etc). I've managed to get recent bochs
releases to compile (with minor tweaks to iodev/harddrv.cc and
gui/x.cc) but on every minix boot to a minix "drive" I get a minix
kernel panic:

Executing in 32-bit protected mode

^@
General protection
process number 0, pc = 0x0007:0x000000ff

Kernel panic: exception in system code
Hit ESC to reboot, F-keys for debug dumps

The build of bochs from '96 that I got on the minix CD will boot Minix
fine, I just can't get it to play nice with the newer builds.

Am I just missing something vital somewhere? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks.
