Hi.

I've installed Win98 on bochs (Mandrake 9.1) as well.

I used a Win95 boot disk image.  That I used to boot from, to fdisk and format 
the hard-disk image.

I have copied the D:\win98 directory to c:\backup98\{cabs}\ - I prefer {taxis} 
- and installed from there.  Not content because it doesn't like the "hard 
disk" and won't recognise the emulated cdrom, I reinstalled it using the
dd if=/dev/cdrom bs=512 of=./win98.iso
command, and it installed quite happily, taking up the previous state of 
installation quite happily.  But it still balks at the emulated cdrom and 
doesn't like the hard drive either.
