Hi!

Hope I am submitting this to the right place!
I'm using the Win-32 port of bochs 1.3 and am trying to run Linux inside of
bochs. However, it is unable to access my cdrom. I am using the bootdisk
from the SuSE Linux 7.2 distribution, and on booting, it registers the fact
that the cdrom is present, but is unable to access it.
When using the Windows 98 boot disk inside bochs, it can read the cdrom no
problem.

My .bochsrc file looks as follows:

# how much memory the emulated machine will have
megs: 64

# filename of ROM images
romimage: file=../BIOS-bochs-latest, address=0xf0000
vgaromimage: ../VGABIOS-elpin-2.40

# what disk images will be used 
floppya: 1_44=bootdisk, status=inserted

diskc: file="c.img", cyl=101, heads=16, spt=63
cdromd: dev=d:, status=inserted
newharddrivesupport: enabled=1

# choose the boot disk.
boot: a

# where do we send log messages?
log: bochsout.txt

# disable the mouse, since DLX is text only
mouse: enabled=1
