As long as it will not keep other developers from working on unrelated
things, go ahead.  If there are problems, we can back out the changes and
you can keep working on it in "patch" form.

(Somewhat related: Sometimes if I'm about to check in in changes to lots
of files, I do "cvs diff -u" to make a patch first, just in case I want to
undo all those changes easily.  If it's just one file, it's not useful
because cvs update can do it.)

I think this should be done before the next major release, so that we can
distribute one bochs binary for each platform, with a user-editable file
of keymaps to choose from.  But since the previous release was yesterday,
it will be a while.  :)
