I have 2.9can, and it caused me so much trouble.. (and 2 full XP
rebuilds)

I have given up on BID now, and unless they do something drastic, won't
be installing BID ever again.

Disappointed I am.

I too have had constant blue screens from BID 2.9can when used with
Win XP home. When it happens, I have been filing the crash reports
generated by the OS with Microsoft using the filing feature built in
to XP. Until yesterday, all have come back saying that they could not
identify the issue causing the crash. However, this morning, much to
my shock, I actually got back a report from Microsoft saying that
Blackice was the program causing the crashes and that I should get
Version 3.0 from the vendor. Of course, to date there is no such
release, but I assume they are working on it - apparently Microsoft
actually contacts the vendor when they determine that a particular
program casuses XP crashes and gets them to fix their software.

Has anyone heard anything about the release of 3.0? I too am pretty
tired of the crashes and would like to stablize my system. I was
very happy with BID on my old Win98 machine and would hate to have to
change to a learn a compettitor's product.
