Subject:    [BIDissues] Can't download BID update file from Net Ice

Just bought BID and tried to download the latest update file from Net 
Ice. When I clicked the download link, after supplying serial #, 
etc., I got a blank IE 6.0 window with a small graphic icon in the 
upper left corner. No message, no file, no nothing happening!

Same thing happens if I try to download through the BID application 
itself. Not only that, but Net Ice support tried to email me the 
update file as an attachment. The email came through, but not the 
attached file. Verrry strange!

It's not a matter of finding the link to download. It's like the file 
just won't move, for some reason.

Is it an IE 6.0 problem? Is my ISP [@home - cable modem] filtering 
this file out for some reason? [I can download other binary files 
from other sources OK.] Any ideas?

I'm running Windows 98 Second Ed. on a Micron PIII 500. Toshiba cable 
modem. Using Cox@home.
