Sorry for the delay in responding to this, my spam filter ate this message
and I didn't see it until someone forwarded me a copy with a note saying 
that this was likely a license troll.

Our position:

    a) Consult our track record.  You'll see that we've been ethical and
       fair in all of our dealings with the free users.

    b) Consult a lawyer.  We're not here to give free legal advice.

    c) Take this off the BitKeeper-users list, we are not going to
       have any licensing discussions on this list.  I've redirected
       followups to /dev/null.  

My apologies if this seems harsh but we are too busy making the product
better for you to enter into any more discussions about the free use
license.
