Hi all,
Simple question for anyone who happens to be on the chemical side of
the group.
Is anyone aware of a decent 2d molecular database tool that will run
under linux? I am looking for functionality similar to Isis/Base and
Isis/Draw, or csed and csbr from the Cactvs tools with some sort of xml or
hashed database. I'd rather not have to roll my own, since I am not much
of a programmer, and I am not adverse to paying for it, although my funds
are rather limited. Since I am planning on putting this on my notebook to
support some reasearch I am doing, I'd rather not have to carry around a
full MySQL or Postgres instance to support it (All those 1s make the
machine heavier 8-).
Thanks in advance for any advice I get. I will probably post the same
question to a few other lists, and I will, should there be interest, be
glad to generate a summary for people.

Thanks,
	Andy
