You can work in git (https://bioconductor.org/developers/how-to/git-mirrors/) and \
create as many local branches as you want. You can't create any branches in svn. You \
have access only to your package, in devel (trunk) and the release branch.
If working in git, be wary of creating a non-linear commit history, this causes \
problems when trying to merge with svn.
