Hello,

Yesterday, I've posted the message below, but have not received any info
regarding this problem. So, here it is one more time in the hope that
someone knows what causes these errors.

I'm running Bind 9.2.1 on Slackware Linux (kernel 2.2.19)...

I'm receiving the following error messages in my syslog:

May 30 09:45:41 ns1 named[57]: socket.c:1342: unexpected error:
May 30 09:45:41 ns1 named[57]: socket() failed: Invalid argument
May 30 09:45:41 ns1 named[57]: socket.c:1342: unexpected error:
May 30 09:45:41 ns1 named[57]: socket() failed: Invalid argument
May 30 09:45:41 ns1 named[57]: socket.c:1342: unexpected error:
May 30 09:45:41 ns1 named[57]: socket() failed: Invalid argument
etc...

I have noticed these errors already in bind 9.2.1.rc1, but I thought
before posting a message to the group I'll try to upgrade to 9.2.1 first.
Well, now I'm on bind 9.2.1 and I'm still getting these errors.... ;-(

Does anybody know what the problem may be....

Btw, as far as I can tell my bind servers are seem to be running fine,
even with these errors.

Thanks
Jorg B.
