In short, I made a framework using only XSLT that once pr. night 
(or forced by command) compiles our webpages, and deploys them. Our 
site has no need for dynamic stuff yet, so there was no point in 
making it more advanced than nescessary. The framework can be used
with any XSLT parser that speaks document:write from www.exslt.org,
which is quite many, if not most.

The framework is in the CVS repository, so you can always download 
it and play with it further. It is GPL'ed. I can't remember what
the XSLT parser we use was called (it used to be 4Suite, but Stefan
found a better one, as I recall).

I meant to create a separate project with just the framework, as, 
just like you yourself and others have demonstrated, there is quite 
some interest in how it was done. I was, for work-related reasons,
hooked up with topic maps (XTM/HyTM) before the summer, and started 
from scratch to build a similar framework as to the one on the Fresco
site, instead based on topic maps. This project was just released on 
SourceForge if you are interested;

There are no current plans to use this in Fresco, at least not until
it can offer what we've already got, and then some. :)
