Summary: DiskToCatalog verify reports SHA1 sum difference for
all zero length files.
Description:
DiskToCatalog verify reports SHA1 sum difference for all zero length files.
I'd call the severity somthing between
"minor" and "major", but there is no
"moderate" option.
Steps to Reproduce:
Backup system and then run DiskToCatalog verify operaton. Note that all
zero-length files are reported as having "SHA1 digest differs."
Reproducibale with a W2K8 x64 and a WXP 32-bit system,
both current on MS patches.
Additional Information:
Backup server is a Dell T105 running CentOS 6.2,
Bacula was built locally on that system.
Used the pre-packaged install images for the
Windows targests.
Config for the Windows 2008 server system
follows. Probably the most interestion line is

The report always indicates
SHA1 digest differs. File=2jmj7l5rSw0yVb/vlWAYkK/YBwk
however the "Cat=" value changes every dozen lines or so.
