Summary: bat seg faults with new installation
Description:
During installation everything went well. The databases were correctly
setup. Testing shows no problems:
,----
| pmatos@mietzekatze:~$ sudo bacula-dir -t -c /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf
| pmatos@mietzekatze:~$ sudo bacula-fd -t -c /etc/bacula/bacula-fd.conf
| pmatos@mietzekatze:~$ sudo bacula-sd -t -c /etc/bacula/bacula-sd.conf
`----

Running bat fails with the error:
,----
| bat: ABORTING due to ERROR in console/console.cpp:155
| Failed to connect to localhost-dir for populateLists
`----

and then aborts with a Segmentation Fault.
,----
| pmatos@mietzekatze:~$ sudo bat
| Segmentation fault
`----

bconsole gives me no chance to do anything:
,----
| pmatos@mietzekatze:~$ sudo bconsole
| Connecting to Director localhost:9101
| pmatos@mietzekatze:~$
`----

This is most likely a support issue. Please see www.bacula.org -> Getting
Support.

It is reasonably clear that it could not connect to the director (read the
message), and that means some sort of configuration problem. If you had
asked on the user list as you should or read the manual, you would know to
run bat with the -d 50 option to get more info.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
How can you say that this is not a bug?!? Independently of the
configuration issues, no system should crash hard like bat did. That
segmentation fault _is_ a bug. However, if you're not interested in fixing
it, then that's another story.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
As documented, when something is seriously wrong and the Bacula component
cannot fix it, it prints an error message and then forces a seg fault. In
this case a seg fault is probably not a bug, but more likely just that bat
cannot continue without a connection to the director.
