Hello,
I am using mod_backhand to proxy requests from a webserver to an asp server.
The asp server has both an eth0 interface, and an eth0:1 interface.
eth0: 172.30.0.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 172.30.0.255
eth0:1 172.30.2.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 172.30.2.255
backhand config on asp server: UnixSocketDir /usr/local/apache/backhand
MulticastStats 172.30.0.12 172.30.0.255:4445
MulticastStats 172.30.2.12 172.30.2.255:4445
AcceptStats 172.30.0.0/24
AcceptStats 172.30.2.0/24
My problem is that when I look at the status page on the webserver in front of the \
asp server, it displays entries for both ips correctly (172.30.0.10 and 172.30.2.10) \
but it displays the same hostname for both entries (which is the hostname as returned \
by the 'hostname' command on the asp server). Is there a way for backhand to display \
the hostname based on the ip address? I am wondering because I am modifying \
byHostname.c so that it will dynamically select a server based on the content of an \
environment variable set in apache.
Thanks
