But wouldn't the hardware see the parallel port in the blue firmware
screen? It sees the two serial ports, the video card, the CDROM, the HD,
etc. I'll check for parallel support in the kernel. I am running the
stock kernel that Red Hat installed. BTW, why would the setup ask me if I
wanted to set up a printer if it wasn't going to work?
