For what it's worth, I don't have any problem with the latest CVS on
my Solaris 2.5.1 (sparc) machine.  All 63 tests were successful;
c.at:141, c.at:178 and foreign.at:27 were skipped.

If it matters, I'm using GCC 3.0.1, and my Solaris 2.5.1 is pretty
up-to-date with respect to Sun patches. I configured with
CONFIG_SHELL=/bin/ksh so that I didn't have to worry about the fact
that I've installed my own /bin/bash on that host.
