More precisely:

m4sugar (cool stuff, supporting but not needing quadrigraphs)
autom4te (quadrigraphs, warnings)
m4sh (shell functionality)
other layers

I hadn't thought about bison at all but yes, the idea was to have
m4sugar more clearly separated from autom4te.
