Have you

a) looked at the code? NO! It sends the correct XML.
b) looked at the network output of any servers online? NO! It sends the correct XML.

<monopd><server version="0.9.0 (CVS >= 20030625)"/><client playerid="2796" \
cookie="2796/874666185"/></monopd> <monopd> <playerupdate playerid="2796" \

If your network code or XML parser is buggy, don't blame monopd. If for some
reason std::string is not concatenating for you like it should, let me know.
But I have tested the 0.8.1 release with no less than 5 versions of Atlantik
and I'm not really interested in false accusations of buggy code where there
is none.

As for API changes: the January release of Atlantik, 0.5.2, works fine with
monopd.. all of the changes have been backwards compatible. And never mind
that most of these changes were made to accomodate your own wishes?
